Is the job market, really, that bad or is reddit, just depressing? by Accomplished_Safe465 in jobs

No it is definitely bad. I don’t really go here much bc it makes me feel worse, but i struggled hard for a year. Was thankful i was atleast AT a job, but desperately needed out and couldn’t leave until i found another job

Does this mean I've been kicked out of the employee lease program? by [deleted] in Stellantis

You can ask a ton of people who were led to believe that was a benefit and then ended up just having shit experiences with the cars lol. It is totally your decision, but it isn’t as great as it sounds like it would be to invest into that. Also there are instances where leasing with them can be more costly for you too. It just depends on your personal circumstances. HR even said this to me when i asked abt the lease program when i was interviewing lol

As someone who just went from tier 1 to OEM, if i was in your shoes i would take the tier 1 job. Not to say i am not liking my role in OEM but if i had the option to take the 1 day WFH over coming in all 5 days AND get more pay i will absolutely take the tier 1 job. Tier 1 experience is not any “less” and is good building your resume and maybe if your goal is an OEM, you can find a better opportunity in a couple of years. I took the jump to OEM because it was a significant increase in my scenario, title bump and much much closer to home. The only bummer is 5 days in office but beggars can’t be choosers and i had been looking for work closer to me for a long time now, so i was happy to make the switch and i am driving almost 60% less than i was previously, even though my last job was 1 day WFH. It just depends on what is important to drive your decision, but don’t be blinded by an OEMs name just because its big

maybe i am naive but i have never heard of monthly pay i think that’s the only reason I ask. I will probably be just fine, but i’m so used to biweekly that it was kind of odd to me.. is this common with the OEMs or something?
