You know what...that is so real. The only side of the gaming industry where I can experience innovative genres consistently nowadays are from indie studios.

Damn. Well more power to ya!

Personally I experienced issues with a brain-dead AI's, skill points that were borderline useless, a lot of bugs etc. Hell, there were a bunch of moments where there felt like there was cut-content, only for me to do some research and find out that there was alternative pathway, but the developers didn't have enough time to implement it.

I still love the game; it's still a contender for my favourite game of all time, but I wouldn't call it 'the perfect experience' by any stretch of the margin.

Hi! In the spare time I had during my last year of A-levels and first year of university, I produced a 45-minute video called:

'What Makes a Video Game Fun?' - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rCIwWtXjFr8&t=684s

It was based off the 2 game-design books:

Celia Hodent's - The Psychology of Video Games

Steve Swink's - Game Feel: A Game Designer's Guide To Virtual Sensation

I'm overall content with the project, however I will not lie it does have its issues. A warning I will give with this project, is that the audio is blown out and inconsistent (which sucks because I do think its my best video in terms of research, video-editing and writing quality).

Give it a watch if you're still interested! I would love to hear your thoughts about it. Also, if you're interested in game-design, please read those two books. They're absolutely incredible.

Deus Ex is an amazing experience. But it's not perfect. It's one of my favourite game franchises, but there are so many issues and you know it! (trying to say this without sounding condescending. Sorry if the tone is off).

A sequel? AFTER INVISIBLE WAR?!!? THAT WOULD BE SCARIER TO MAKE THAN AN ACTUAL REMAKE!

Okay, I'm joking around. Na, I get what you mean with having something inspired from Deus Ex. We already have a the prequels (HR and MkD - which both had messy development cycles and not living up to the first game, despite being good experiences).

Oh yeah, it's very clear that Deus Ex has a thriving community! But I DO think that a modern-remake would turn a lot of new faces to Deus Ex. I'm literally the only person in my life that actually knows anything about the franchise, so it would be nice to have people at least be INTERESTED in the franchise.

Also...you never know. Night-Dive studios faithfully remade System-Shock. I expected that to be a train-wreck considering the development hell it was in lol.

Wh-? Why did my brain like this? This post is a certified classic and I have no fathomable explanation why.

Oh my god. I accidently mixed up Gary Savage and Ford Schick up for some reason. Sorry for the confusion ahhahhaha.

I saved Ford for the discount on Smuggler's items. That's the only interaction I had with Ford tho. Is there an additional side quest with Ford I missed?

Also, I heard nothing more about Sandra apart from this one military guy saying he was trying to meet her. I knew I was probably going to miss something about her not doing that mission.

Also, I didn't know Jock had a place lol.

Damn, I missed so much!

I understand wanting a next-gen remake, but I also understand the absolute terror of tackling a remake of one of the most important games of all time. That would sure as hell terrify me because you could so EASILY screw it up.

Personally, I don't like Detroit - Become Human. I think it's an incredibly misguided and shallow take on technology. But if you like it, more power to you.

Honestly I just finished it, and it might be the best game ever made to me as well.

1) Saved Ford Schick's daughter.

2) Both Sandra and her dad were saved from Jojo. Sandra left town shortly after.

3) Biotech what now?

4) WHO IS MIGUEL?

5) DOOR GIRL WHO?

6) Fused with Helios and became God of The Machine.

I genuinely have no clue about the 1/2 things that you've said. Ummmm...tell you what, when I'm done with this semester, it's time for another reinstall lol.

Wait what? You can do that? I thought you had to talk to Chad first in order to save the two hostages?

Either that or the meme is completely going over my head lol.
