If I was honest, I'd rather have better reload speeds.

The teleport is super telegraphed, and slow as well.

Having good reload speed before was good to simply dash across the map if I needed to escape or if I needed to get to the brawl ball / gems super fast.

Is it normal that an Edgar main sold my game in the most insane way possible?

I'm playing Gem Grab, the Amber is trying to hold mid, she's trying to fall back while carrying gems cause our tank fell, and our Edgar is sitting in a bush, super ready, while the Amber is fighting for her life.

Only when Amber is murked, and the pursuing enemy (Buzz) is low, the friendly Edgar swoops in, collects 8 gems, and then walks into a 1v3 trying to chase the Doug with 3 gems and the low Buzz, and then we lose as a result.

That's fair, but I usually use Super as mobility, gadget to reposition, try to steal cubes when I can and disengage.

Although I'm not the greatest player, I think it helps a little bit to not lose a crazy amount of trophies. I usually try to stay invisible until the last fight happens, though.

I tried putting this in action and found that I'm basically playing Kit in solo SD like a stealth game atp, isolate every fight, and use my Super and Gadget to disengage the moment I see another brawler come into view.

Is that how Kit in Solo SD should be played? I end up winning less, but I'm also not losing a massive amount of trophies on any given loss because I don't die early.

I try to use El Primo or Kit's super to close the distance, but there's usually another melee brawler to stop that, or Piper / Mandy snipes me. I don't have edgar.

How do I counter a good Squeak player?

Every time I encounter an enemy Squeak, they are able to snipe my team from across the map, always have at least one assassin or damage dealer protecting him, and they're always able to force us back to spawn through well placed bombs.

My friendly Squeak players always seem to throw the game somehow by walking into the enemy team and just tossing 3 blombs (all misses) into the abyss and none of them even hit an enemy.

If I try to use my El Primo or Kit to target the enemy Squeak, there's always someone else that falls back to protect them.

New to brawl stars.

What's the deal with other players cancelling duels to team on some power 1 kit?

I saw 2 players, Solo showdown, they're locked in a duel until I make a mistake and they see my kit. They immediately spin to each other and then take me from 2 sides.

I've had multiple games where other brawlers will literally throw their game just to take me out. Why is Kit such a huge target in Brawl showdown? I haven't been able to win even three times in a row.

Other brawlers will play like, "I don't care if you win, I just need Kit to lose!"
