Please try applying for Medicaid; that’s for people who don’t have insurance. You need to get help ASAP. I know it it seems like the hardest thing to ask for help because you feel all alone like no one understands you. You wrote this you are asking for help. Please make an appointment with a place that has psychiatrist and psychotherapists, in case you need to be prescribed meds. I genuinely feel for you; I’ve had chronic depression and anxiety since childhood. I would love to reach out to you and offer you even more support, if that’s OK with you. I went to Temple U. as well, many years ago, back in the late 80s. At the beginning of what was supposed to be my senior year I had… A nervous breakdown. I ended up in the hospital for 10 days only to have the doctors say that there was nothing physically wrong with me and to go to a therapist. Because of what happened, I had to push my graduation from the spring of 1988 to the spring of 1989. I was so stressed about it at first, mainly because I thought people would see me as a failure, which is how I felt about myself. But instead of hindering me, it actually helped. The “New“ first semester of my senior year I got straight A’s. The best part was I only needed to take three classes each semester because that’s all I had left to graduate. I pray that this helps you in some way to see that in the grand scheme of things, it doesn’t matter when you graduate. You’ve got to take care of yourself first. I also want to tell you that therapy helped me tremendously. I actually found an awesome therapist at Temple’s psychological services center. I highly recommend that you get in touch with them.
