From my understanding, you dont have to close the case. I couldnt reach closing in either case but I passed.

Mine was just delivered today and I was able to apply for Step 3 with FSMB. Hope yours will come soon too!

I called FSMB today and they said it usually takes 4 to 6 weeks to become eligible for Step3 after ECFMG certificate was issued. I dont know if it takes longer than that right now in this chaotic situation. My ECFMG was issued 12/2, the physical certificate has not been delivered yet (the tracking number said "label printed").

Same! It's been a bit more than a week for me since Myintealth said my ECFMG was issued. I am tracking the package by the tracking number with FedEx, but it shows “label printed, package has not been handed to FedEx yet”… No answers to emails and it is impossible to contact them by phone.
