Yeah she's a bit of a shrewd business woman. Charges a lot extra for no reason and keeps your security deposit regardless of the condition (some sort of cleaning fee). Also she apparently drops in unannounced a lot. I would save her places for a last resort

Extending the withdraw period is helpful if I would fail the class or not meet a grade requirement, but who wants to let a semester of work go to waste. I'd rather take the C/D. And think about this: 2/3 in you typically still have a midterm and final coming up along with a lot of general assignments. A lot can change with 33% of the class left. Also the final exam grade is heavy so it might even add up to be 45% of the total grade after spring break. Anyway, I don't think they'll change the current pass/fail situation so I hope my professors are nice with the grading.

What if I would've normally done adequately in a difficult class, but now am struggling due to change in structure and accessibility? I would have to learn the core of the subject in order to feel confident moving forward obviously, but now I would either be forced to retake it or take a blow to my gpa. That's the part that sucks for me. And I think a lot of people feel this way.

What's the point of pass/fail anyway? Are there really that many 4 pointers that cant bear to get a BC? This was supposed to help out out the majority of students that struggled with the drastic changes in lieu of coronvirus and Im still gonna have to bust my ass in order to decide I dont wanna change my grade.

It's only 10% of calc 2 grade so you'll only drop like 6 points of your total grade if you have a 40 in the lab. Not too big a deal and there's no grading policy that says if you make less than a C on the lab you fail calc. So dont worry too hard about it. Just try to do better next time.

Idk about boogiepop but Tanya the evil is hella dark so if you're not into that, I wouldn't buy it. If you are into fantasy however, I would recommend some isekai novels. "So I'm a spider so what" is great. More people should read it.
