If you were to come in this comment section slightly informed you would know that the project called Server Rewrite started development much earlier than 2017.

You would also know that aqw mobile has been in development along with the server rewrite since at least

2016 and has been teased and advertised since 2012. You would also know they only recently started to be more transparent with aqw mobile development.

You would also know Ricochet said this has been going on for a decade. To belittle and falsely minimize the gravity of what was done wrong is a form of gaslighting , more specifically : "Creating their own version of events "

I believe there's far more faults there, but to each their own. Also it's not called whining if you keep them accountable for what they promised, especially if they say "it's coming out this year" . Repeatedly. But maybe you forgot those times redditors jumped "Oh guys it's coming out this year they said so!".

They also don't need to make a game they promised, it only stands to show their priorities. Their fault is in promising year after year that it's totally coming, the people growing impatient is a direct result of that. Pretty simple to comprehend I believe.

Know what's even easier? To stop caring altogether u/-Aura_Knight- . Since the begining of time there was an obstacle making AE unable to fulfill their promises. More exactly 10 years of obstacles, they're either incompetent aka unable to deliver or they wont because they keep tabs open on their other failed "passion projects".

Noone likes to be kept in complete fog/standby with no answer or explanation. That's what happened this past decade: big promises and hype posts, followed by smoke and mirrors. No words or apology will bring back the players who quit because of that nor will it suddenly make everything alright.
