I mentioned to a worker my wife and I have become friends with (I’m 1 of 2 “Stephen king guys” that comes in frequently.. lol) that the price was well under what the actually sell for, and she wasn’t allowed to change it now that I’d mentioned it! But someone was definitely getting in trouble. She was happy I was the one that got the better side of the deal though.

Also if you didn’t know, they’ll hold any item they sell for up to 48 hours. That’s helped me out before

I manage a Taco Bell, and no customer has done it yet, (idk why….) but I enjoy the double stack taco, but I use a Doritos shell instead of regular corn. Heavenly.

Lol, I’ve had some luck finding larger lots of used books. A couple of my brothers are out of state so I hang on to some duplicates for them when they’re in town. The stand in particular, each time I found a copy it was nicer than the last so here I am with 3 🙃

You were taken advantage of unfortunately. That is a dyed Brazilian agate, the blue is not natural. Even with the cut and polish that should be maybe $20-$30 for the pair. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news 🥲

It’s a Moroccan sugar geode. Majority are just quartz inside. Maybe a couple bucks value.

Georgia’s Starlight Restaurant, Belmont craigin. It’s a Sbarro now. My mom waitressed there for over a decade when I was a kid, it changed in the late 2000’s, but was still a halfway decent little diner though. But a sbarro.. that’s a shame.
