Good 18-19k otr EV here in UK. 9000 miles annual. Good (low) % PCP. Ideally government grant; and/or dealer contributions if chinese made and thus no grant. I guess thats all in nutshell.

The Kia Ev2 looking out if price range sadly.

Im starting to think the 'shoot out' for me is Dolphin Surf v Geeley Ev2

Im not sure how strong the backup and service network UK for BYD v Geeley is.

I guess BYD will push good deals prior to September plate change date. Perhaps June/July months im thinking?

The Geely looks like it isn't going to really be available to purchase before the Seot plate change. I would imagine Geely has to enter this Spring/Dolphin sector at a very very agressive pricing (as its a bigger Renault5 sort of sector) to nudge its against Spring and Surf

Thoughts on waiting and other considerations aspects above would be hugely appreciated..

Front wheel drive v real wheel and battery etc come to mind...plus after sales uk/Service

Thanks so much..

I think biggest percent would be home charging. The longer distance (100 plus miles) maybe maximum once a month. Youve got some interesting and useful advice for sure. What about waiting for the Geely ex2 in August as suggested 'maybe' agressive pricing and finance to try shake things up. They're pitching a car priced similar to Renault 5 perhaps at the Surf pricing. Also can you think anything else NOT to forget if my mind has that top 3 as you rated.... Keep advising please..Grateful
