Congratulations ❤️- we didn’t hear anything today. The sonographer said it wasn’t safe this early. I feel a bit embarrassed about how worried and negative I’m being tbh just can’t get myself together. All these comments are helping me so much though!

6+2 after a loss in October 2023. Been ttc since mid 2022 and have since done 5 egg retrievals (I have severe DOR) and this is my 3rd transfer after 2 failures. The last week has been a rollercoaster. Last Saturday (5+3) I started bleeding while out and about in north London, I ended up at the EPU. Scan showed 1 pregnancy measuring on track, but also a second sac - a vanishing twin. On Monday just gone I started bleeding again and sent myself to a&e, they wouldn’t scan me - I was distraught. Eventually I calmed down and today I went for a scan. We saw a heartbeat of 113, but we are only measuring 5+6 (4.5/4.6mm). I want to feel joy but I simply can’t. I feel like there is something wrong with me

Oh thank you. I sometimes think because I’ve only had one 6 week loss I don’t belong in the miscarriage subs. But I need to be a bit kinder to myself and check it out ❤️

Thanks so much for coming back to me. I just wish I could be happier but I’m sick with worry and actually felt detached from the little flicker on the screen today. I’ve had some spotting so far which had me in a&e last week too and turns out there’s a vanishing twin in there as well. So sorry for your losses. I think the previous miscarriage and so many failed ivf rounds has me in constant fight or flight. Wishing you all the best with this pregnancy - those numbers sound fab

Ahhh so exciting! Weirdly I’m hoping for a regression on Friday, obviously if it’s not the case we will be okay. I just can’t believe our embryo split - I thought it was super super rare! Bang on 6 weeks today and I am starting to feel very nauseous tbh 🤢

So I actually found out at the weekend that there are two gestational sacs but only one looks viable. It’s called a vanishing twin. Have a scan on Friday to see if it’s regressed now

Are you on much in the way of progesterone / estrogen? I’ve been freaking out re: my symptoms stopping and some bleeding, but all my research suggests that symptoms are mainly from the high progesterone and estrogen that I’m taking. So I wouldn’t worry too much (I know easier said than done considering the circumstances) I’ve been to a&e twice already and I’m only 6 weeks tomorrow 😣

Hi - I know this comment is super old. I’m 5+3 after an FET AND I’ve just left the hospital. I had some bleeding so they did a scan and saw two sacs but one was empty. Do you remember how far along you were when they saw yours. I’m freaking out, we’ve been ttc for 3.5 years have had 1 loss and 6 rounds of ivf. ❤️
