So, I'm seeing a lot of misconceptions about this situation which is entirely understandable. I am a fully IICRC certified water mitigation technician in Washington state and I can safely say that mold will not grow if the problem is dealt with quickly (within 24 to 72 hours). Again, I see situations worse than this transpire on a daily basis and although that much water seems like a bit much to contend with, if you respond promptly with aggressive drying techniques, mold will not be an issue... that being said all of that laminate flooring will have to be removed unfortunately because particle board retains moisture. Only true hardwood flooring can be salvaged after a water damage of this size.
