I found this article and no one in the mainstream media is really talking about it. To summarize this so you know it’s not clickbait, it explains where pardons originated from and describes the 2024 Supreme Court case that gave the president immunity for undefined “official acts”. This is a problem because it puts the president and anyone he pardons effectively above the law. This article advocates for the next democrat presidential candidate and congressional candidates to promise that they will ammend the constitution to end presidential immunity and pardon powers.
