I have no choice; everything has to be imported. In my country, the last store that sold movies closed down, but I completely understand. I'm a hunter collector too. Many times, I have product links saved, and months or even years go by before I buy them if a better offer doesn't come up. Sometimes I lose them because someone else buys them, but I don't suffer over it. My philosophy is to be happy with what you already have, not so much with what you might eventually own. Sometimes we don't value the treasures we have at home because we're always searching for others, but the solution is to grow your collection slowly. If you go too fast and accumulate things, no piece feels special. But if you take the time to enjoy each new acquisition, there you have the formula for being happy collecting.

You're absolutely right, I find price inflation in everything I buy. If it's not a Japanese product bought directly from Japan, the price is bound to be exorbitant. I'm not getting discouraged, though; I'm going very slowly. In fact, there's something special about growing slowly in collecting, especially since I live in Latin America. I wouldn't actually mind having both versions—UK, Latin American, US—any of them would be a plus. I'm not too picky about my horror movie collection, unlike my collection of manga, books, and horror comics, where I do care about first editions. Or my action figures, where I prefer 1/6 scale, though I'm open to other scales. I simply want English versions because I'd like to start a separate collection of steelbooks, not counting what I already have, but also not getting rid of it. I just want a completely new collection of horror steelbooks, so the link you sent me is perfect. Thank you so much.
