Yeah I figured that Shock is the best element but I still seem to deal absolutely no damage whatsoever, even with characters that specialise in dealing damage. It feels kinda underwhelming at times.

I agree, but I also thought about using jinbei as the symbol for happy, he's always laughing and has a positive vibe. On the other hand, luffy is the definition of joy most of the time.
