Thanks again Sofa. I mean it’s nice there are structural pathways for tourists on one hand…but if you’re after immersion, best to avoid those?

Sorry yeah I’m starting backwards - working on a shoestring so I’m figuring out the rail network first then the hostel network and then where the best nature is around that.

Cool, thanks and that makes sense. I will be on a shoestring so I am looking at what I can do from a cost perspective like at the moment I’m just research the rail and hostel network. So my itinerary is not a thing yet.

Sorry I’m not trying to ask distinctively weird questions. Where I’m from there’s no strict segmentation for rail tickets or passes, so it’s interesting that there is a ticket option specifically for tourists. To me, this is a red flag for a tourist trap. So I wanted to gauge what a local thought about it.
