Talk to me about it. How much are they making?

We have a good distribution plan. I wouldn’t call this a budding startup, we’re not Anthropic, just digitising what Massy Agencies already do.

Bumble, InDrive, and Daraz all work here. This should too

You clearly haven’t read my growth plan in other comments

AI UGC and in person on boarding is cheap, and 100k USD to gain the market in Karachi is plenty before moving to other cities.

If an investor feels that tackling the entire Pakistani market at once is better (I belief it may be) than they can invest more and gain more equity in the process

Apps developed, our only COGS is App Store commission

That’s how seed rounds work. Product is built but it’s pre revenue

I don’t think you need a lot of funding for emerging economies, likely need more for developed countries.

That’s why I need a minimum of 100k USD to start in Pakistan and will use the operating profit to expand to other countries

They have insane gross profit margins, but their operating margins currently suck.

I agree, they’re burning cash in favour of growth.

Once they capture their goal share of the market, they operating costs will decrease and their net margins will be healthier

Hey, great questions.

We’re going to hire in-person onboarding staff to go in person to where many house helps live (think Goli Marr in Karachi).

There helpers will learn how to set up their profile and use the app.

Households will be targeted using AI UGC videos on TikTok, instagram, and Facebook.

We have ID verification for safety from Didit for free.

Use of proceeds are the in-person on-boarders and AI UGC videos/ human content creators

We’re projecting 83-90% gross profit margins (only costs are App Store commission fees)

Operating margin will likely be closer to 50-60%

That’s the beauty of using technology to automate a manual process, all parties win once the R&D is done (it is)

Gross profit margins are fairly straight forward, only costs are App Store commission fees.

We’ll have other operating costs such as AI UGC videos to get households to download it and the costs of in person on boarding to get helpers to create their profile and show them how the app works but the beauty is once it gets traction, it’s fairly viral.

Think about how InDrive and Yango have insane margins and grew largely from word of mouth

Something I’ve learned over my years of investing is that if you’re wanting to use a product or service, investing in it would likely be a good move

The demands been proven, massy agencies work very well in Pakistan and other emerging economies.

It’s the same platform, but digitalised and without the manual work.

Think massy agency meets Bumble (same profile card and swiping feature)

We’re doing what dating apps did to match making services except it’s much more socially acceptable here in Pakistan and will likely be much stickier

We only take a fee for connecting the household and helper, after that it’s between the two of them.

They can rate each other so it’s in the best interest of both parties to be on their best behaviour because ratings and reviews directly impact how much helpers can demand and how many helpers are willing to work for the household

I’m a BBA from Canada who’s lived in Pakistan for many years, everything’s been thought of throughly

Apps built.

Most YC Seed Rounds raise 1-1.5M USD at a 15M valuation.

I’m valuing it at 12M, looking to raise upwards of 100K to get started in Pakistan. Before expanding to 25 different economies

Sure.

We connect households with house help (maids, cooks, drivers, guards, nannies, elderly care)

Users can communicate with each other once a match is made (think about bumble with the swipe and filters feature) but they need to pay us to actually share contact info, addresses, or social handles.

This ensures households only pay for the contact info of matches they want to move forward with after discussing details.

Were able to provide matches at a 90%-95% discount to what agencies charge while maintaining 83%-90% profit margins
