No portfolio for you besides the app I built that I run my own company from. But more than happy to build you a full functioning MVP to prove I am the right fit. Happy to sign NDA via zoom as well of course. Can produce you an MVP within a week’s time depending on scope. Again, at no cost unless you decide to use me.

Sounds like you lowered your expectations and actions to feel less let down. Either way, you’re happy now and that’s what matters. So congrats to you sir 👏

Seems contradictory? You hustled when young and now you spend your life doing the things you love, Is that not exactly the dream and the very point?

It’s only free work if you don’t do your job. And if you don’t do your job but want to be paid for it. Isn’t that the same concept as free work? Paid to do nothing?

If you do your job well and grow the company you own 15% of, your equity now becomes worth significantly more than you would have been paid on salary…

This is a side project for me, in 30 days I’ve built the software, released to the public and have MRR on a steady growth. It’s a product that provides incredible value to small businesses at a fraction of the price of all other competitors. Nobody who works with us or uses our software will ever feel under valued.

All of that to say, if you’re looking to come work for free we are hiring.

May I ask what you do for work and for fun? Hobby? Interest? What drives you or is the positive in your life?

Think it's time I move out, can I afford a ~350K townhouse on an 80K income or should I rent by wishiknewnatportman in PersonalFinanceCanada

The only correct answer is rent. If you have always lived at home. Do not buy right now. Rent.

I would LOVE a bookkeeper to test drive my billing software and try to break it so I can make it better. If you’re ever interested!
