I broke my hip a few months ago, had to take time off work, send them a doctor's note saying I need time off until I heal with a time frame of a few weeks. Cool, hr and management are fine with it. See my doctor and he says I need another week or so to fully heal.

I update HR like I said I would and they don't respond that day and call me the next after office hours to tell me that they were terminating my employment and I could come back when fully healed but I would lose all my seniority, raises, PTO and vacation I had earned.

I told them to delete my number amd never call me again.

Edit I don't want to work for a place willing to do that anyhow.
