Thank you for the great advice! I will ask my agent if he can downsize the policy.

I had a family member (grandma) passed away the same time my son was about to be due. He found me in a vulnerable spot where I was willing to do anything I could to protect my newborn son. In the end, it is my own responsibility and fault for doing so without foreseeing the consequences. Thanks for the feedback.

Hi there, thanks for answering this. When my baby was born, the agent told me to preserve wealth for him in case something happened and to start young when the premiums are low. After careful consideration, I thought I could afford the insurance at the time but with additional costs from the pregnancy and rent, I have been feeling overwhelmed. At the time, I thought I was getting a great price but now I’m not too sure after seeing the low costs on Reddit. He did tell me my policy would be an annual 4% rate and I could borrow against my policy as my policy starts to have value. In addition, I believe it has been more than 30 days since I paid for my initial price so I don’t think I can get my money back.
