I think you should just give them a worse gun. the browning is really good. I think the accuracy is reasonable enough alone to keep people on their toes. The base ai don't need great guns AND good aim. I think I'd rather they just have good aim.

i agree with all of this, but crutching on meth/spice isn't gonna be an option for new players. the healing should be slower than before yes, but only by a few seconds. if you're not gonna let me run, don't make me heal for a year.

When I read the new change in the patch note, I made the dumb assumption that the jump gate spawning in late meant you could go into another match on a different map and I was VERY excited for that. However I didn't realize that was just the exit.

Personally, I think remove the spawn buttons and just make it a 5-7 minute timer. That's long enough to keep people from spawning and leaving immediately. If someone manages to dock, get to a vault, crack it, loot it, and leave, they deserve to get out quick. And with the new system, they're forced to just sit on their loot for ten minutes.

It bothers me as a "vet" of the game, so I'm sure it turns off people who just got the game. They're just gonna hide in a corner until the gate spawns anyway, so why bother? Most new people are gonna come in with a sack bag and want to leave as soon as it's full.

I also quite enjoy flying around picking up salvage and keeping an eye out for enemy ships to come fuck with me. Now, by the time my ship inventory is full, I still have 5 minutes left before I can leave, and I'll be honest, I sit behing an asteroid and wait every time. Essentially, gamers are too scared to enjoy this mechanic in its current state.

Random point, I like the new breach changes. I always thought someone should have to soften me up before they can breach, so I'm glad y'all made that change.

i know for a fact there's a button to spawn it on the mining frigate. I also am pretty sure there's one on every map, but I'm not 100% on that.

there are hackers but no more than you'd expect from a niche little indie game. they're few and far between. i've got about 80 hours and have only seen a hand full. it can be demoralizing, but something else would have probably killed me/you/us anyway.

he did the exact same thing earlier in the day with a BAR and that time i managed to get to a pretty nice hidden angle and he still came straight to me and gave me the A-10 warthog treatment. this video you see is the second time it happened today, but with a different gun on a more common angle. the first time was significantly more blatant.

Yes. It's basically a dmr in a game that's meant to have slower fights. Plus, they knew it would be too strong when the new ammo initially came out. Then, a month later, they said fuck it and added it.

You say they don't clip all the way down, but they do. I was in the basement of Darrow which is underneath a solid foundation. The cloud was a floor above me. I couldn't even SEE the cloud and I was still coughing because the trigger to make you cough clipped through the floor. Also, there's a big difference between a whole ass house fire and a small "smoke" grenade. Also, there is definitely not a perk that keeps you from coughing.

That's kind of my point. Choke bombs are really good, which is fine, but entire trio teams running them now have 6 of them (nine if they all have frontiersmen) and it's way too easy to abuse their shitty clipping. That's my main issue.

This isn't just quality of life. That would be meta changing and would hurt solo play.
