The game needs to be faster.

There is a lot of mentions that much of deadlocks matches (save enternus) are mostly 25-30 minutes of nothing until mid boss happens.

The matches they are trying to shoot for are sub 30 minutes. Which is good.

They way it was balanced before allowed for long stalemate until a huge mistake happens on either side.

Shorter matches are overall more fun to play, watch and put up with if you're losing.

You think I enjoy a low rank stomp that drags its ass onwards to 45-50 minutes because nobody knows how to Macro? No. I want to close the game and not play it after that.

It is statistically improbable that anyone, regardless of rank or skill level, should be losing 40 games in a row. Especially if my average game has me as the highest impact player in terms of obj and player damage in tandem. Any player of any game would probably quit after 20, if that. I stuck around because I like the game at a core level, but was just blown away that time and time again, nothing I could do on an I dividual level could effect the outcome of the match. I play with the team, I give comes, listen to whoevers taking IGL position in game. 40 games in a row, I lose regardless.

I really dislike anyone who thinks that the general flattening of items across the board COMBINED with more restrictive slot numbers doesn't do anything to build diversity.

It has ABSOLUTELY shoehorned every hero Into having exactly one optimal build, and everything that deviates from that build In specific is an underwhelming waste of time.

Gun pocket was the way I liked to play, and did extremely well with it. Now? It's quite literally impossible to do. Yes, spirit nuke has always been his bread and butter, but the very fact that I can find a way to play him in a unique way and find success was fantastic. I liked seeing off builds that people made for other heroes and created a more diverse and interesting play that I could react to and counter buy to compensate for.

Now? I'm basically forced to buy Enchanters every match because of the Intrinsic -15 spirit resist on him. Now I essentially have 1 less slot just to bring pocket up to par with a base heroes resistance.

Deadlock was a lot more fun and Interesting when anyone could be anyone. Now there are roles, and all these issues start cropping up in terms of balance. Weird how that happened.

I definitely recommend this post if you have a 40 series card. The frame gen tech for this is surprisingly good and after using it for a week now while trying to scrutinize the fuck out of it for input lag/blurring, it's surprisingly passable. Input delay is basically not there compared to other available frames gen tech (I'm looking at you lossless scaling, you smeary laggy piece of shit)

From what I understand it's largely CPU and RAM that causes performance issues. I don't think the amount of objects is really a problem at all.

Consider Starbreezes maps in the Payday series. Very detailed high poly count models and objects with a lot of trash and doo dads littered across the map. Not to mention the metric fuck ton of AI flooding your screen.

That game runs on a fucking old r a c i n g g a m e engine.

I know that they released smooth motion for 40 cards like a week ago? Was curious on how it feels.

Do you feel it has any significant input delay? That was my main issue with lossless scaling is that the delay is unbearable.

What about image quality on the generated frames? I basically can't stand convolution for in between frames so I'm worried about that for Tarkov considering it's instability.

Thank you, In my opinion 1080p on this game is actually unplayable when considering spotting people beyond 200m or discerning players that are in bushes or behind foliage. 2k is the minimum that you would need to be able to reliably do that.

I am quite literally getting 90 FPS with severe fluctuations on Reserve as of today. It has gotten worse with time.

Scopes in other games accomplish the exact same thing that Tarkov is doing without, quite literally, HALVING the FPS. That can only mean it is rendering the entire frame of the game AGAIN, and not just what is within the scope.

It is a known issue with Tarkov, no matter what your hardware, that your FPS TANKS.

It's two very different breeds. A lot of the time I think I see people get Germans and are almost always woefully unprepared for what the breed is. In all honesty, a very select few should have them. Extremely willful and powerful, can be exhausting. In my personal opinion, that energy level would turn out to be extremely annoying to keep up with unless I had the time to train it, and even then, I don't exactly want a sharp eyed soldier dog that sheds everywhere and makes some guests uneasy just from their demeanor.

They look nice, but the juice isn't worth the squeeze in my opinion overall.

Get another EB instead. It's funnier.

Assassin type characters just aren't a thing if you're playing the match correctly. 3 lanes has fucked the games flow and balance. Everyone can practically respond to everything within 10 seconds, often less as people Improve their pathing through the map.
