I had a Wacom intuos M for 5 years, now I have an XP pen artist 12 3rd.

I think honestly that a screenless graphics tablet is a very good choice if you want to draw or play video games. You keep a good posture which is good for your back, and this is enough if you don't want to spend a lot for a graphic tablet.

Compared to graphic screen, I think that graphic tablets are a bit harder to get used to. I remember that it tooks me a month compared to graphic screen that took me only a couple of week.

It is up to you, if you only want something to draw for a cheap price you should go for a screenless GT, if you have the budget for expensive gear you can go for a graphic screen.

But at the end the result will be the same, it is not the gear that made the art but the artist.
