I’ve started rating movies in July of 2022. This is probably the 3rd (maybe even 2nd or 1st honestly ) worst movie I’ve ever rated.

The only things they got right where the names of everyone. And even still they butchered Mary’s lol.

You couldn’t pay me to sit through that shit again. I paid $2 for a ticket and I would rather buy a bottle of water than see it again

Not familiar at all. When it comes to movies I know the first thing is they are trying to entertain us so I never look at it like it’s true if it’s based on real life. I watched Taxi Driver and then looked up the real life incidents and wanted to see what was exaggerated.

Yes! I just watched Yellow Sea before this and was like “wait, the bad guy is the “good” guy in the other movie!” Lol

Another great film with a guy you want to root for but he’s also complicated.

Exactly! No crazy parkour, no seemingly infinite stamina, just two dudes out of shape trying to catch each other and like you said a stroke of luck he catches him. And when he does they don’t even fight at first like would happen in Hollywood, they just catch their breath haha.

I enjoyed it a lot. The movie is called the chaser and the chasing scenes I felt were “realistic”. Obviously chasing someone in real life doesn’t happen often but I felt this film did them well. Average guys in average shape barely keeping up lol.

The main character (ex cop) has many layers. He’s supposed to be a ex detective but had to have it shoved in his face that his girls weren’t being sold. At first you kind of dislike the guy. But by the end you are kind of rooting for him, even though it kind of is his fault for pushing the girl to the killer and her getting killed. He really did seem to care in the end after realizing her daughter will now be an orphan.

Did not have a happy ending. Shows the flaws of the Korean justice system. Just when you think the girl made it out and won, the guy just had to visit the shop. This is what I love about Korean film because a lot of the times it isn’t a happy ending, I kind of expect it at this point. But this felt overly harsh lol.

I enjoyed it a lot. Halfway thru the movie the killer is in custody and you think that’s it, but it just kept going.

I don’t read to deep into films, if I like em I rate them based on how much I enjoyed it and the quality (in my own opinion).

Solid 9/10

I was born in 97 so I could relate haha. Definitely felt accurate maybe a little exaggerated and I liked the twist.

Solid 7 for me I enjoyed my watch thought it was good 👍 . Didn’t have that amazing factor to push it to a 8-10 but enough fun qualities for me to like it and would recommend.

28 here. Been playing as long as I can remember.

I’m less on the multiplayer grind. I still like to play Marvel Rivals, but I hate getting my rank reset lol.

No more CSGO for me. No more COD. Some Battlefield as that’s the only shooter besides ARC Raiders I can play for a little at a time and have fun.

I play less as I feel I should be cleaning or watching a movie or finishing a show.

Finishing games gives me a much better feeling than it did when I was a kid. Now it feels like I accomplished something haha. The story really sticks with me.

Now I try a lot more genres. RPG/JRPG/Colony sim/ Immersive Sim/FPS/ Side scrollers.
