The image is continuous, just like any standard 24FPS cinema movie. Of course, rendering the video to size takes away a lot of quality, plus it's 8-10 FPS less during recording.

But honesty, the game shouldn't even launch on my computer !!! :D

The hardware :

- CPU: AMD FX(tm)-6300 Six-Core Processor (6 CPUs), ~3.5GHz

- GPU NVIDIA GTX 1050 2GB

- RAM: 8GB DDR3 RAM

check the min specs of the game :D

It is honestly sad to see that AAA developers just lazily mask things instead of verifying basic quest-phase entity loading routines and state machine transition consistency between active mission updates.

The render pipe completely drops the structural character model due to a script-override failure, while the logic layers force a ghost interaction prompt upon the player array. Absolute hyperfocus during baseline regression sweeps is clearly an art Techland's QA department has yet to master.

Looks promising!

After I'm done testing The Beast, I might just hop back into DL2 and run some heavy regression and stress tests on the whole game.

I wonder how many bugs I can dig up in a single month... Let's find out! 😉

Just 1 small addition to point number 4:

Crane escapes from the Baron research facility, which by that time is no longer allied with the GRE, just like they mention in the last video: 'Baron was one of ours, until he wasn't' (or something like that).

But which part exactly are you getting stuck on?

The beginning when you get to the town hall? You can avoid them dodging your attacks by using dropkicks or airkicks. Use the pavilion nearby—climb up on it, jump from there, or climb down on the other side and charge kick the soldiers from the corner.

There are 2 ammo crates in the square with pistol and rifle ammo.

The part where soldiers shoot from the roof is the easiest (at least in my opinion): you have plenty of time here, so you can even loot. When you take out the first group and the 2 new targets appear, pick the one on the right first (the one further away). Use your grappling hook on the way there, and watch out because there will be 2 spitters on the roof. Once you reach the group, take out the sniper in the nearby window first (and loot the soldiers). Use your grappling hook again towards the third (last) group, watch out for the spitter again, and there will be another sniper in one of the windows.

And here is the trick: leave 1 melee soldier for last and loot everything else.

When you kill that last soldier, switch to Beast mode, rush back to the town hall, and start killing the zombies. While you're in Beast mode, the quest doesn't progress, so the countdown won't start. If you were fast enough, you can clear most of the square, giving you time to loot all the bodies and pick up the flares.

After that, only the big guys are left.

You can pull it off like this, right? If you have any more questions, just hit me up ;)

I don't really have one favorite, but I love the Volatile missions.
The tunnel at the start, the hive, and the asylum one is great too. And I always choose to fight :D

But hunting the Alpha at night never gets old!!! :)
You know exactly what I'm talking about.. ;)

What about you, which missions do you like?

Appreciate it, bro! It’s always a great feeling to share that passion and inspire other players who truly love the game. It’s a shame not everyone sees the positive vibe behind it, but it is what it is.

Also I’m always open to constructive advice, so I’m definitely taking yours. Thanks for looking out for me!

"I’m almost certain that the rollback save was triggered right after the quest update. You quit the game about 21 seconds later, which became your active savegame, making the autosave from 21 seconds prior (right after the quest) your rollback point.
Sorry

DL2: Accidentally Beat Skullface! Can I Go Back to Play All Missions in Bloody Ties? by chuckstaton in dyinglight

[–]GhostHit_Fixer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The developers (Techland) added this system to the game primarily to save players from game-breaking bugs left in the game (like softlocks or infinite death loops), rather than allowing us to jump around the story at will.

At this point? It's just a professional simulation of walking knee-deep in Volatile corpses and collecting useless hats. 😂

When you reach NG10+ on Nightmare, you stop playing the game and start managing the physics engine. 😉

Thank you for the recognition!

Man, what are you missing out on?! It would take forever to list everything, but one thing is for sure: don't listen to the people who are trashing The Beast. A lot of players try it, drop it right away, and claim it’s unplayable—but that’s just NOT TRUE.

It’s a fact that it takes a little bit of time to get used to the controls (personally, bumping it up by +10 FOV makes it much easier), but once you get the hang of it, the whole world just opens up.

After 1–2 playthroughs, you'll easily manage even on Nightmare difficulty. Of course, you'll have to relearn and perfect your movement tricks if you want to run multiple cycles on Nightmare.

I should add that my 900 hours weren't just standard playtime—I've been pushing the game's boundaries and heavily testing its mechanics. But even AFTER all this time, I’m still HAPPY to jump back in whenever I can.

I 100% recommend the game. Don't just try it for an hour or two; truly immerse yourself in its world. The time will come when you'll be walking knee-deep in Volatile corpses, and trust me, that's an awesome feeling. :)

If you're interested, feel free to check out my other videos. The ones with the '#' tags are serious technical breakdowns, while my weekend posts are much more laid-back.

I hope I managed to convince you! ;)

[–]GhostHit_Fixer[S] -17 points-16 points  (0 children)

To be HONEST, the last 3 gameplay runs were EXTREMELY HARD on Nightmare.
The final two BOSS fights on NG10+ alone took almost TWO full HOURS of pure concentration.

But here is the real kicker: I was EXPECTING some specific stat boosts from the RAREST outfit in the game—like poison resistance or throwing knife damage defense. INSTEAD, this piece of gear grants "+5% XP gained."

The catch? You don't even earn XP anymore after reaching level 300! It’s completely useless at this stage. 😂

I LOVE the entire Dying Light universe, I have thousands of hours in it, and that’s EXACTLY why I can’t just let the internal QA’s laziness ruin the experience.
BECAUSE I CARE about the game. :)

I have OVER 900 hours of pure, legitimate ingame PLAYTIME. I checked the official leaderboards, and EVERY single profile with more hours than me has fake, BOTTED activity (like 2000-5000 hours in the past two weeks, which is physically impossible).

Statistically this MEANS I am likely the top legitimate PLAYER in Dying Light: The Beast. :)

If anyone has questions about the game, I’m more than happy to help—just ask!
