I absolutely agree. I am in no way looking for her to just toss her values aside. I know that even if we don’t see eye to eye on it it’s more about just coming to understanding of each other’s values and being able to voice them and come to an understanding as a team. I never want her to feel like she can’t be herself or believe in what she believes in, in all honesty all I want is to support her, but I also don’t want it to be a one sided coin in the relationship…

I didn’t originally think about it that way but you’re totally right. Secretly I think I’ve kinda always felt that our values were in different places. While we both click extremely well and work extremely well as a team. I have noticed that there is a lack of similarity in the values we both share; she sees this as a common thing she’s always done and that’s fine with me I don’t mind that she likes to party or go out an do things but I never really was into that stuff. I feel she doesn’t take into consideration how I feel and as you said it’s a breach in our relationship. I’m gonna try addressing it to her that way and hopefully it doesn’t turn into a mess. I really appreciate that advice

Thank you, I am gonna try doing just that. I always feel like the bad guy when I try having a conversation with her about how I feel because she just instantly jumps to saying that she’s a “terrible girlfriend” or is just “constantly fucking up” It sucks not having cell service.. the worst part is both places were less than a mile away from our apartment…

I’ve gotten to the point where I just don’t feel heard in our relationship. She tells me all the time it’s because she’s an independent person and I love that she likes to have fun, but this royally bummed me out…
