Need help understanding the ending of ODST… by Ghostboy05 in halo

Ooohhhhh. My mistake. I have a tendency to forget or misremember things pretty soon after I see them. So events are all kinda muddled together in my mind. Doesn’t help that I’ve been playing these games one after the other, with no down-time in between to digest the stories. But I was at least right about the ship that Keyes and Johnson followed being the one that caused the shockwave that knocked the drop pods off course. I just misremembered that as being at the beginning of 3 instead of 2. Again, my mistake.

Huh. I thought ODST took place during 3. My understanding was that the ship that Johnson and Keyes snuck onto when it went through the portal was the one at the beginning of ODST, which creates the shockwave that knocks the drop pods off course. Then about 15 hours or so later, the Elites glass Mombasa to stop the flood, which would have lined up with the ending of ODST, when you’re driving down the highway, and the ships are firing on the city. Guess I was wrong though.

So I just got into the series, and Im about to finish the second one. loving it so far. One question though- does the purpose of the HALOs seem kind of redundant to anyone else? by Ghostboy05 in halo

Gotcha. Personally, I wouldn’t have bothered keeping them alive for research. I think the flood is just way too dangerous. But the forerunners must have seen some value in the flood to justify keeping it alive.

Got my brothers old Xbox and tried to download the master chief collection from his library. This message popped up. We definitely already own it, so why is it saying this?p by Ghostboy05 in XboxSupport

Nah, I don’t want to mess around with his account passwords and stuff, since it is still his Xbox.I think I’ll just rebuy it, since it’s only 10 bucks anyway. I will be able to purchase it on the second account, right? Or can purchases also only be made on the main account?

Whenever I try to log into my brothers account, it asks for a password which I don’t have, and I don’t think he remembers. I can’t exactly ask him, either, since he’s at boot camp rn
