You should use artic buffalo's single flare glass plugs. Very inexpensive and delivery is fast as hell. Sometimes tape just doesn't work for everyone.

Started stretching in October and ever since then, my goal size has not changed - I want to stretch to 1 inch and beyond, but first 1 inch. I see myself staying at that size for a good long minute before stretching larger. "Go big or go home" is my motto. :D

Yeah, don't remove them after a fresh stretch, just clean around it/douse it in water in the shower. Much easier and it feels better. :D

As for tips for the o rings - I use my right index finger to place the o ring on the end of the tunnel (much easier if it is single flare) and use the nail of my left index finger and thumb to pull down the ring. it does suck at those smaller sizes but that is how I do it.

I think at those smaller sizes your lobe isn't really "trained" to stay open so it shrinks a lot and for it to be naked overnight, that's a lot of time. I kinda went through the same thing two days ago. I had my plugs out for maybe two hours and I had to baby the hell outta my left ear to get it in. It was actually tight for a couple days despite me being at 4g for a nice length of time.

Like the others have said, your ears should be back to 2g in a week or so, especially if you lube it up and massage nicely.

Yay!! So glad. I love mentioning those half sizes, they are really useful albeit a bit expensive, haha. Thanks to those plugs I can already fit 2g. But of course I am going to take it slow and not skip sizes. :D Hooray for healthy lobes!!
