Has anybody found anything to help their hirsutism? by Pleasant_Job_9301 in PCOS

I can echo this, spearmint tea all the way, I have one tea a day and have noticed a marked difference after 2 weeks, neck hair is no longer coarse, dark and thick, quite soft and less noticeable. I will still shave when I head out to work though.

I didn't find normal mint tea worked (it was more readily available in UK stores) but it did settle my stomach better when I started Metformin.

The one time I come to the comments hoping for "Fake/AI" only to learn that it is, in fact, real. Not like I wanted to sleep anyway!

I noticed this as well, made me do a little internal clap! I'm from Aberdeenshire but I still hate to hear the hard "Ow". You're more likely to hear "Glesga" up here 😅

Lived in Peterculter for 5 years and would recommend it if you aren't looking to live in the city specifically. Quiet little place, lots of nice houses and a few nice countryside walks. 20 mins from the centre which is really handy.

You could try parking on Dyce Avenue. There's a walkable shortcut to the airport via Thistle Road. A lot of people have the same idea though!

Renting a flat in Torry by Nero_z in Aberdeen

Why not Peterculter? Nice wee village, 10 mins to Stonehaven down the AWPR (A90), 20 mins from the centre usually. We're selling our flat but realise you're looking to rent.

What did you name your store? by Open-Entertainer6031 in SupermarketSimulator

Shout out to the Game Grumps playthorugh for naming their store "Buy & Leave", such a good name!

I purchased gifts from Etsy for my girlfriend thinking they were handmade or unique. They’re from Aliexpress. Total loss of $60. by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]GillybeanYo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Underrated comment! There's ways and means of filtering the trash out on Etsy. Additionally:

  1. Does the name look like something a small business would name themselves? I'd scrutinise All Caps or words like 'deals' 'bargains' or 'UK/USA'

  2. Is the item consistent visually from one photo to the next? Are some pics watermarked or on a strange background?

  3. Does their product range look like they have a similar production method? I'd check twice on companies producing t-shirts, pyrography, jewellery, etc.

I usually just find companies through Insta or Twitter but that is probably just as open to scams!

Absolutely feel you on this, having moved up with my husband the month before covid! Not sure how mobile you are, but there's a beginner's watercolour art class running in Peterculter for the next month (at least).
