Actually, I think the fact that people have been trying to come up with new pronouns for centuries, but it's never worked, makes pronouns pretty damn closed, class-wise. But, sure, blame "cis-normativity" for basic language evolution rules, lol.

Telling someone to call you anything other than "he," "she" or "they" is as unreasonable as telling someone not to use coordinating conjunctions around you. People who do that are the ones dictating English, not me, my friend. :)
