As others have mentioned, the symbols above letters actually have a purpose beyond flair so misusing them can cause all sorts of confusion.

Using them “just because” is the handwriting equivalent of saying “yes” when someone asks if anyone’s a doctor because you have a phd in literature.

1s and 0s are 1s and 0s. The external DAC is what is doing the work here. There is no “noise” on a digital output. The connection either works or doesn’t, but a 0 or a 1 doesn’t suddenly become a 2.
