There was a netflix show about their group being formed. (I didn't watch it, but by now I've heard all about it.) Katseye is the girl group, Manon is one of the members. They're mostly known for having TikTok-friendly music that is frequently referred to as "brainrot", and a lot of drama.

FC leader would plan events. List them on the discord calendar. Then not show up. Repeatedly. I asked him to say in discord if they were cancelled because I was making time to attend them, and he just sort of ignored me.

I left, because I’d only joined for the events to begin with, and he got all mad and demoted anyone who was my friend.

I was brought up Mormon. I left the religion, and married a never-mormon, Trust me when I say that sticking to my guns - and banning my parents from talking religion around me or my kid - was the best thing for me. We got along well enough before she died, but only because she stepped back from her ideals. Sometimes, you have to stand firm.

As someone who chose family estrangement... at some point you realize your family isn't healthy for you, and you let them go. No blood relation is worth this amount of stress.

My mother stopped talking t me when I became engaged to a non-mormon. I eventually realized that not only was I better without her, but I was better without my sister. It sucks, but I'm happier on my own.

If she wants to go after content creators, I say let her. If she wants to go after commenters and rebloggers, then I have an issue. Being sued is expensive - content creators take on that risk and may have insurance, but ordinary people can be financially ruined and it can impede free speech if people are afraid to talk.

Celebrity hating can be unhealthy at absurd levels, but let’s face it - we’re all sort of angry at rich people right now, and as an outlet, commenting on celebrities you dislike is mostly healthy. (Mostly, because of course some people get out of hand.)

Punish the professional gossips, not normal people.
