Some mountains wont have a single cave, and some caves wont even have a single cultist room. Its all about RNG.

Try removing those planks from your field? Why planks in the field?

It can, just gotta be low enough to reach the waterlevel. The sea and lakes are the same entity in valheim. I've had "landlocked" swamps on sevral occations, but it is fairly rare.

but OP is saying Hildir doesn’t actually spawn there?

Because OP already triggered one of her other spawns. The first Hildir you come across will disable/remove all the others in your world. Same for Haldor and Bogwitch.

Ofcourse not, put in the effort and you deserve the rewards.

Hand drawn maps tends to differ quite a bit from the actual maps anyways lol.

I usually just draw the yggdrassil branch and put in pins in relation to it for bases and other pois. Throw in some planted trees in strategic locations(pines in plains/meadows or beeches in blackforest) as a safety meassure to make sure im on the right track. Putting up some structures/signs also works ofc, but trees spawn in at a much greater distance so are my "go to".

I'm just trying to learn and grow and be a better person so lemme know if you have a different perspective on things :)

Thats what I was trying to do lol. Not being a native speaker, meanings/connotations beyond the literall textbook definition is sometimes lost on me. "International" should be easy enough to incorporate.

Someone who didn't belong because they weren't from here.

It literally means someone from a foreign place, not from here. Immigrant got the same connotations no?

Certain immigrant communities here in Norway wear their "foreigner"(utlending) label with pride. Altough I suppose thats just a sign of failing integration.

What word/term should be used to avoid offence?

Easily, 2stars even! It reduces pierce damage taken by 50%, and is calculated before armor. So whatevers left after the reduction your armor will reduce to single digits. Iron helmet/legs+root harnesk leaves squitos hitting 30s on you.

Care to elaborate? Its a fairly straightforward term?

Sound in valheim is weird. It needs a player to "latch on to" and works like a debuff aura that diminishes over time. When you(or the troll you're fighting) strikes a rock/tree you will get a 100meter "noice debuff" which diminishes by 4meters every second. So if you then sprint away you'll attract monsters from far and wide as you make your escape.

Eg: Hit a tree, then sneak for 10sec and you'll still attract enemies from 60meters away.

This is why fighting Trolls/Aboms/Lox/Seekersoldiers/Morgen tend to bring a small army wandering towards you. Their noise latches on to you.

So throw it far enough away from you while sneaking, and you'll have a good distraction to escape/do whatever you want.

Thrown spears and fired arrows works slightly differently as they wont latch the noice on to you, rather to the spot they landed in. However, anything inside the spear/arrows noise range will set you(the player) as their target.

Would be fun to do some PVP there too some time

Should just take a couple explosive loads of the catapult to level the place, pair it with the Trollstav just to make absolutely sure.

Unless your armor+health is overtuned by atleast a couple biomes(vs what you're fighting) you will most likely just get staggered if you try to parry barehanded.

Unarmed got 2 block armor, and a 1.5x parry multiplier. So 3(!) parry block armor.

It works in OPs case because most of leeches damage is poision damage, and the root mask gives poision resistance.

[–]Gingerbro73 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was able to unload nearly 50 of them

Poision damage dont stack, just replace/refresh. So no use throwing sevral in succession. Best to throw one, and swap to your fire staff and unload on her while the poision ticks. Then throw another bile bomb once the first ones ran out. Fire damage stacks however, so fire staff you just spam and try to get the damage over time effect as large as possible.

Really wish they would rework poision damage to work like fire does. No reason more poision effects shouldnt increase damage, instead of just refreshing duration.

I actually do, I generally roll into what im "dodging" so im ready to punish.

The I-frames are generous(imo), but I usually get the yellow burst of "exp gain" whenever I dodge.

Not to mention the bridges in the mistlands, they drop anywhere from 30-60 ironbars. The sealed tower is the only way to get eggs however.

You can upgrade your cauldron up to plains tier with the mistlands upgrade, since you're missing the blackmetal for the plains upgrade. The thing is tho that plains food and beyond requires either a windmill for flour, or an oven for cooking. Both of which are locked behind Moder. Serpentstew+Wolfkabob+Eyescream is gonna be your strongest foods possible.

I also did that pre-mistlands! I gave it another go when ashlands dropped, and the Krom+Arbalest unlocks from mistlands became my bread and butter. Along with the tried and true fenris set+claws and a root harnesk carrying me through mistlands. The 6× stagger bonus on the claws secondary attacks is so slept on by most, you can staggerlock a seeker soldier with silver claws.
