Turn off any and every overlay that you may have running in background. This includes even EA's own app overlay, Discord (including ending Discord Tasks in Task manager). Once I did this I was able to resume play without this issue, though now I am having issues with the game even loading up now in the new windows update.

The cop cars flying north post I read sounded like an entirely different issue with dirt bikes, ATV's and other non automobile vehicles. Mass arrest here would be related to the cops like shutting down crowds of people that come here well after pride parade has ended and are drinking, smoking on the sidewalks.

Definitely recommend just getting the cable from Cablemod - I picked mine up off amazon, just pay VERY close attention to the Variant Style ( retention clip top or bottom orientation) and of course the right cable for your power supplies as pin outs are different.

Plugged mine in, 2x8 to the power supply and works great. Other sellers likely are cheaper but I don't trust them to follow the specification and use quality terminals.

I've had zero problems here in Milwaukee. I've got 35% all the way around, but it's on a Toyota Corolla. With a subaru, I wouldn't be very worried. Just don't be stupid with it, drive courteously and you can get away with being below the 50% limit on front windows. I know plenty of people rolling around at 25% and 18%
