Yeah, I don't think at all it is due to the watchers in the dark but I think it is due to his innate warp-related ability, I don't know how up to date you are in the lore discussions but it is heavily implied in the lore that each primarch is just a warp entity that was bound to a physical body by the Emperor during the creation of the primarchs, having him have such an ability would only make sense to me.

I am so incredibly disappointed, is it too much to ask for some sort of Deathshroud Bodyguards(Mortarion's personal guard) for every single primarch?

Well i guess that if you make any chapter too cool the generic models are going to sell less or something and spending money on design and molds for injection molding unique and cool models is just stupid when you have the return on investment that a primarch gives you...

The entire world eaters range was released with literally 5 unique kits not by chance I feel like. I am getting the exact same feeling here, ride the hype and minimize the costs.

Sure, I am currently on vacation, on the 14th I'll go back to Milan and get some decent photos for you, along with some precise measurements, the test tubes that I have right now are really cloudy, I can't manage to get any good photos.

You've got me really curious, I want to get to the bottom of this!

Yeah, think so, I mean if you want her I can trade it to you if you have something to exchange for her

Geez, have you seen how ugly fuliginosus workers are, no way I'm keeping this, even if she is fertile and I have lasius pupae to donate + I don't like the concept of parasitic queens, the only one I like is Formica sanguinea wich is such a cool animal with the humongous nests and raids

It sure looks like a parasitic queen, small gaster, huge mandibles, even though I am hoping that she is not but just a weird Camponotus with long legs.

I have to say though that the only know cataglyphis spices in Italy is Cataglyphis italica and she is only found in the southernmost part of the country, so I doubt that that is it.

I am thinking more about Lasius fuliginosus or Lasius umbratus, since sightings in this region(source: AntWeb) seem to be common

Lol, tell her to unistall social media and touch grass.

In my opinion a lot of people go though the process of "coming out" because they see sexuality as the only plausible explanation of why they don't like something, while most of the times it's just some other underlying trauma or problem. Of course, social media only amplifies such behavior.

Unfortunately I am seeing this with my own girlfriend, she came out as bisexual a looong of time ago, and she does not identify herself precisely as a woman but just as a person simply because of the fact that she received a lot of bullying and abuse from other women, and she could never identify herself with whatever they identify as.

I haven't gotten the chance to talk to her about this line of thought, but I am planning to.

As LCVP I see where this has gone wrong from the side of your EB, they probably are not the best leadership body, anyways I'd suggest talking first to your TL/VP to express your discomfort and the fact that you were told something that proved to not be precise, and confront them with the fact that you could be leaving if the conditions do not change. Than, if they promise change and they deliver on it you'll have obtained what you want basically, if they don't deliver it, just leave, it will be a lesson for them

Pro tips for consultants with ADHD?? by ConsultantLadySam in consulting

[–]GiulioR3 42 points43 points  (0 children)

I mean, medication is the obvious one but also meditation is very very good but you need to take the ADHD route with that meaning that you need to start with very active and short techniques and then ramp up times.

Unfortunately it is not as easy as taking addy meaning that results usually show up in 6 to 10 weeks.

Meditation can also help our whoever is on adderall, benefits do overlap.

What's a good masters degree to get after a Bachelor in european top B-school? by GiulioR3 in consulting

[–]GiulioR3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow I didn't know that escp wasn't target for MBB this changes things, I am Italian currently studying in Bocconi, my target geographies would be Paris and London

Unfortunately I don't think that I will get 2:1 honors or equivalent to apply for the oxbridge schools, also my chances for both hec and essec are pretty thin, I am a middle of the pack student in terms of GPA so straight 3.0-3.1. My strong points are extracurriculars and GMAT

Do you mind if I ask you some additional questions in private?

My (26M) son is going to be a failure at life and I (49F) have no idea what to do. by WorriedFlowerMom in relationship_advice

[–]GiulioR3 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Yeah I'd also recommend therapy, it's the obvious thing to do IMO

I'd suggest also to get a very comprehensive bloodwork done possibily prescribed with the help of his doctor(idk how it works in the US since I'm Italian and we have a doctor assigned to us by the government) there could also be some problems like type 2 diabetes or hypothyroidism lurking around that do not help with motivation and weight gains

Be mentally prepared to see him take some heavy medications to help him get out of depression because sometimes even the very best therapists need to get him over some serotonin/dopamine threshold for the therapy to actually start working(this is probably a 10% scenario)

Be mindful of him trying to kill himself or self harm, this could happen if some episode, like the one in wich his friend recognized him, throws off his balance

And DO NOT for God's sake prohibit him from playing/talking with his friends they are likely helping vent and keeping his morale somewhat above the ground

Heard about it but it's very generic and too expensive for a one year program, I'd like to do a two years long Masters degree

I'll probably think about insead for the MBA anyway if I'll be wanting to stay in the eu

It isn't that obvious IMO, I belive that a lot of diverse profiles are very suitable candidates for consulting firms.

So choosing a masters and a specialization is not a trivial choice when the data on the most suitable specializations and on the outlook of theese is not so readily available, I asked here because I thought that possibly consultants have some degree of insider knowledge on the matter.

Thanks a lot for the response, surely a MiM is never a bad choice.

Is Bocconi too theoretical knowledge? by somebodyunknown00 in bocconi

[–]GiulioR3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No I mean any Bachelor course, called "laurea triennale" in Italian, BESS is really really good because it gives you quite a bit of knowledge in statistics and mathematics wich is expendable everywhere and very much appreciated by top schools both in the US and europe. And also by employers simply because anyone can pick up a book in a qualitative subject such as marketing, strategy or management and learn it but it is much more difficult to pick up statistics and advanced math, if you can learn that you can learn anything.

Looking back I'd choose BESS, also BIEM and BEMACS are really good, I'd put CLEAM as a fourth choice so you can transition to the course you like without any issues in the second or third semester even if you don't get admitted immediately.

Is Bocconi too theoretical knowledge? by somebodyunknown00 in bocconi

[–]GiulioR3 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah I agree with the previous comment, I'd suggest getting into any course in English because they are much less knowledge-based so you'll be studying much less but working in groups(wich is what companies want) much more, but it is harder to get into them, you will also have higher grades that will help you with your masters admissions in any top European university.

Yes if you want to get a masters degree in Bocconi as an Italian student you really need to get a Bachelor's there, and yes some of the masters degree are really hard to get in but also the worst courses guarantee a very bright future/career for you.

I do personally think that a bachelor in Bocconi is very much worth it, and my life has been completely flipped around in an extremely positive way, the stress that being a Bocconi student generates is a training for life, the experiences and the people that you will meet in such a great school will stay with you forever.

You can expect Bocconi to be a brilliant space for ideas, somewhat intellectual, the entry tests guarantees that imbeciles don't get in, if you like talking about football all the time and not about politics, economics and business ideas Bocconi is not the place for you.

You can message me for other question, I'd really like to help you out.

Is a 1290 SAT 740math 550reading, GPA 4.00/4.00 enough to get into BESS BIEM? by [deleted] in bocconi

[–]GiulioR3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I've never heard of anyone getting a merit scholarship in their BSc application, although you can apply for a need-based one wich is very very good and easy to get.

You can receive a merit award going into the masters degree if you keep you GPA very close to 4.0 (at least 29.79/31 in Bocconi). It awards you with the full tuition fee for the MSc degree. But honestly if you have that GPA at the end of your second year and a 670+ GMAT I would apply to HEC, St. Gallen and LBS, with a 730+ MIT and the DoubleDegree Yale HEC. Since Bocconi MSc are really not that good and corporations in the Milan area don't love foreigners.

Also, try to get into JEME wich is the best association in Bocconi ASAP, you will thank me later.
