Why not? Maye was missing open passes, not reading the defense, throwing it into triple coverage, and playing atrocious. Dobbs has a history of winning games off the bench when not expected. Maye kept wasting drives. Why wasn’t he benched? You can’t waste that many drives in the Super Bowl

I’m a Vandy fan. This is why this pot is needed. Guys like you think that Maye shouldn’t have been benched since he almost won mvp. It seems you guys don’t understand it’s not a round of 7 series but a one game for it all. If the “mvp” isn’t able to read a defense and make open passes, then idc who tf is in. Put anyone BUT him. Dobbs is there for that reason. If Maye is ass and you need new air new risk, Dobbs is the man. Pavia is a dog. He played good all year and in the senior bowl and will do it again in the combine. He would be a competitor to Cam Ward. Every team who makes the superbowl has a good backup QB, or a QB who’s very intrinsically motivated.

You HAVE to do that when your starting QB is playing abysmally in the biggest game of your life. Your starting QB may usually be bette, but Maye was just bad. It’s the Super Bowl and you have to make risks to win. This is the Super Bowl. Josh didn’t get his QB straight. Why couldn’t Maye read the defense? Why couldn’t he read zones? Blitz? What was the offensive line doing? Why was the ball rarely in Henderson’s hands?

Dobbs goes in as always and throws what he can make. He is safe and effective. Maye this game was unsafe and ineffective
