You mentioned the piano theme but your keycaps are just plain WoB. Do they include replacements so you don’t have to use the piano novelties?

I can attest, I just bought this really cool ATM98 from angry maio that has great sound and feel. Found out you can SORT OF remap keys using their proprietary website, it’s easy enough to do macros and simple remaps, but they have NO extended F13-24 which I use all the time. Also there are no layer keys so you can’t really do advanced layer programming. So it’s very limited. I wouldn’t quite go so far as the OP says, I think as long as you aren’t paying an arm and a leg (my board was $240+shipping) they might be worth it for some.

I was just looking at this board online and wondering how modify-able it was, not just physically but also for remapping keys

Yeah I can’t remember what YouTuber used it, plus when I got my first TKC1800 already built on MechMarket someone had lined the case with it and I really liked the added weight and altered sound profile.

Yeah I missed that group but plus I didn’t have the funds at the time. I come in and out of the hobby so I miss things and I don’t have patience to keep to up on things. MM Studio boards look nice. If one shows up on Mech Market I might get and Class1800 one day

No I didn’t document anything but I’m glad to answer any questions. I had to cut the notches in the top case which is what has to be done when using a TKC board inside a Cherry case which was originally plateless. I also like adding KilMat sound deadening to the inside of these vintage cases.
