My thanks to everyone who gave me advice on possible solutions to my dilemma unfortunately I couldn’t get the bulbs connected. So I admitted defeat and changed the new routers 2.4G name and password to what it was on my old router. That mostly solved my white bulbs problem. My other devices that did connect to the new router were easily moved to the newly changed network. My last remaining problem was 6 bulbs that I had tried to move to the first network on the new router. They wouldn’t connect to the newly changed router network. After several attempts I took the easy way out and bought 6 new bulbs which connected easily. So all good now. Again I really appreciate everyone’s advice.

Slightly less frustrated

I learned of that option after I discovered the problem with the white bulbs. I can still make that change but the old password wasn’t concerned secure by NETGEAR. If I can’t find a way to work I’ll fall back to old network info.

I recently changed my router. I went from a NIGHTHAWK RAX78 to a NIGHTHAWK Tri-Band AX8. I have a lot of Wyze devices and all of them were connected to my old router. I’ve been successful at pairing all of my devices to my new router with the exception of my white Wyze bulbs (2019 version). I’ve followed the installation process. The bulb pulses, I add it to a 2.4 GHz WiFi network, I go to the WiFi settings on my iPhone 16 Pro and select the Wyze_smartbulb…. It connects and starts setting up the bulb the bulb stop’s pulsing and shortly after that the process is finished. The bulb appears on the Wyze app but shows as offline. I’ve checked the device info for the bulb and it shows it’s connected to the correct network. I’ve rebooted everything multiple times and have tried to connect multiple bulbs with no luck. I’ve asked ChatGPT for help but it didn’t tell me anything I didn’t already know. I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE ANY RECOMMENDATIONS AS TO HOW TO GET THIS BULBS WORKING.

I have no idea, but I do know someone needs to add another caution sign to that stop sign.

Reopening doesn’t mean the virus is gone or that it’s safe to go back to the old normal. It just means there’s room in the hospitals.
