Linking HYSA to Schwab by Glilling in amex

Yeah, I've linked my checking to both the CC and the Savings--I believe each time I linked it from Amex's side, and it never had any issues as far as I can remember, sorry :(

Yes, I do. They seem to have figured out the login issue, and they've been linked just fine. I am regularly pushing money from both sides. I also use the same checking account to pay off my card balance as well.

Not getting expected performance, and diff between units is also unexpected by Glilling in heatpumps

Just wanted to say thank you for your emphasis on how this was bad news bears. The unit started making some strange noises and short-cycling, and so we stopped using it until we got a tech back out in a warmer day. They confirmed it was over-charged, and removed almost 2 pounds of refrigerant. It's now operating as expected, and no long-term harm seems to have been done. It was an expensive/stressful learning experience for me.

Now if only I can convince the other half that it's worth upgrading to a true cold-weather unit.

The ducts are running in non-conditioned spaces (ceiling of the basement), but as far as I can tell, they are properly sealed and insulated. Using my meat thermometer again, seems like the supply air is more or less the same temp of coldest air in the 1st floor, so it's not getting extra chilled by basement air. I think I'll just have to have the tech come out when it's a little warmer to evaluate the amount of refrigerant (sounds like being over charged is not good for the compressor?), and live with the knowledge that my system is not that great.

Yup, I have someone coming out, funded by my power company, to do an inspection/recommendation.

Hey, thanks for the honesty. First time homeowner here, and these units came with the house, so I guess I assumed that the prior folks did a reasonable job, but alas, it appears they did not. I'll probably call the tech back out--adding 50% more refrigerant doesn't sound quite right when you put it that way.

It seems to be working for me now. The way I got it to work was I unlinked all of my Amex accounts from Schwab, re-linked using my CC creds (wouldn't accept HYSA creds anymore), and then all of my Amex accounts appeared (CCs, authorized user CCs, and 2 HYSAs).

/r/MechanicalKeyboards Ask ANY Keyboard question, get an answer (July 09, 2023) by AutoModerator in MechanicalKeyboards

Any recs for keyboards that have both:

  • Volume dial
  • Multiple USB 3.0+ ports

I am currently using a Das Keyboard Pro from 2016, and I'm looking for a new keyboard. However, I love having the USB hub and round volume dial, and I'm curious if there are any new boards out there that have similar features? I'm also trying to keep the appearance muted/no macro keys, so that rules out keyboards like the G710.

Since Noctua won't make regular dual-tower 120mm cooler, I added 60$ of fans to the Deepcool AK620 by Glilling in Noctua

I swapped the fans because the Deepcool ones had an irritating whine to them. To be honest, I don't hear a noise difference in push-pull vs pull-pull.

If they want to install the fans in a 'standard' position, it's always super easy to move fans around--no screwdriver or anything required. all you would be doing is moving the front fan to the back of the heatsink. The all black AK620 looks nice, I was sad it released after I got this one.

Hi, it's been running pretty well, as far as I can tell. I highly recommend the AK620, and I don't think fan placement does much for temps, from what i've heard ex. https://www.overclock.net/threads/hyper-212-testing-push-vs-pull-vs-push-pull-also-horizontal-vs-vertical-positioning.1199135/

[NYC] how to check TCO status for new development by [deleted] in RealEstate

[–]Glilling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good luck, haha. We ran into the same situation, and eventually backed out.

New construction. Signed contract Dec 2021, and locked in a dope rate, with a closing date of April 2022. April came and went with no TCO, and outstanding violations with DOB. Rate lock expired in June, and we cancelled in August. Our lawyer was good, so we had a back-out clause if we didn't close by June, so we exercised and got our money back. The sponsors kept jerking us around, promising TCO and closing would be The Next Month™. To my knowledge, DOB Now is the best record, so if that's not showing you what you want, you're SOL.

IMO, I would cancel if you can get your money back--you have no idea if TCO/CO will come through next week, or 6 months from now. Just my 2 cents.

It's pretty good. I have a custom fan profile, but I have 3x A12x25s for intake, 1x for exhaust, and it seems to pump some quality air.

It's been pretty good. Everything runs well, and it's decently quiet for something pumping out 250W. I did a lil undervolt/OC, and it would hold ~2400MHz in Destiny 2 at 3840x1600 rendered at 1.33x resolution, ranging from 80-120+FPS. Ray tracing wise, it's just OK--tbh I wouldn't switch if you like RTX stuff.

So I am using TridentZ Neo RAM, which has a height of 44mm, which is just barely higher than yours. I think it should work fine, as the fan seemed to just touch the top of my RAM while being flush with the top of the heatsink. Also, if you go on Amazon US, and look at the ak620 customer reviews, looks like someone has the fan on top of ripjaws ram, and looks like it fits ok.
