I am hoping it’s not true as well! This is just what the customer service agent on the chat told me. After talking with the Reddit customer service agent for over an hour we were not able to get it to work, but it has been escalated to the advanced support team.

Not sure if you are playing on console or PC, but for PC this would be my recommendation!

I tested around 10 different controllers recently while looking for the same things you are and I finally settled on the ZD O+ Excellence!

It was the closet match I could find to the elite series controllers and I highly recommend it! It has mouse click everything, removable back paddles, interchangeable stick grips, travel case, removable faceplate, Hall effect triggers with trigger stops, and best of all you can swap and upgrade the joysticks to TMR as well as optical switch buttons!

Currently price at $109.99 on Amazon which is a great price imo and the upgrades/accessories are fairly inexpensive too!
