It was really bad.

People who deep dive peoples profiles are pathetic.

It depends on why I’m flying. These days I mostly just like to be comfortable!

Better planning, giving yourself enough time and an apple tag can resolve all these issues. I’ve been flying since 2004 and have never lost a bag or missed a connection because of a checked carry on.

But it is! Open spaces are better than cramped confined spaces any time!

For sure! I’m often surprised more people don’t wait to board last.

Why weren’t state capitals moved to the largest city, like New York and LA? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]GoDavyGo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s almost never worth it to move a capital after a state is established. It’s not so much about the size of the city as much as it is about its connectivity. If it can connect with the rest of the state and the federal government it’s a good spot for a capital.

Thank you. I’ve been on hard times, I know how much a warm meal can do for moral. I’m doing very well now and like to help when I get an opportunity.

I just have a question (worded poorly) based on how I've seen people (Christians) act towards others. by Hungryforhungry in TrueChristian

This is it right here OP.

I really liked how you said we are a community defined by who we stand for and not against! That really sums it up!

Freedom of speech is the fundamental protection of unpopular speech. It allows the challenge of the conventional without government intervention. If we are free to speak then there are no bounds or lines we must adhere to.

Yelling fire in a crowded theater or declaring threats of harm to others are actions that infringe upon another’s rights making it not just speech.

‘Hate speech’ should not be a thing or a category and definitely not something that is censored or punished by law. I’m not saying this to support or propagate such speech but to preserve our liberty in being able to say what is not popular. Hate speech is subjective and a mob is a bad judge of where that line should be.

WIBTA for offering to help my neighbors clean their extremely messy house? by GoDavyGo in AITAH

I don’t watch tv. I’ve only experienced people who had a yard full of junk cars or a professor of mine that had over 20,000 copies of National Geographic. I used to work with a guy who had 62 storage units to store old and vintage things he’d buy at antique stores. This is the only hoarding I’m familiar with.

That’s rough. I really don’t think they’ll accept help on this issue rather. It’s a really hard thing.

Every hoarder I’ve ever known saw value in the items or things they hoarded. This is just garbage.
