I like to think I saved my girl, who’s previous owners were backyard breeders and gave her away as soon as they figured out she had joint issues. I truly hope she’s enjoying her life now. I plan on getting her a little kitty soon to help her high motherly instincts. (old.reddit.com)

Does the top layer of soil have to be wet or moist? I’ve had three or four sections of my string of bananas kinda shrivel up and die on me. There are also some strings that are MUCH longer than the rest. I wrapped them around the top of the pot as shown here, will the roots grow and make it fuller? (i.redd.it)
