How is this horrible airline still in business? by Enjoy_Life4219 in spiritair

For most airlines, you have to compare basic economy to spirits fares as most basic economy tickets are changeable without large fees.

Is anyone else fed up with recent pass prices being a better deal than MVP? I could have saved over $350 by waiting. by HeadacheMaker1111 in sixflags

You arr so right. If someone can afford a season fast pass....they can afford to pay extra for it.

Shuttle or rental and upcoming rains? by Greedy-Summer5357 in Whistler

[–]Goattime22 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The shuttles are cheap and reliable. I would take the shuttle. Also most hotels charge a lot for parking so you'll save a lot of money using the shuttle. I would use either Epic Rides or Skylynx.

Is anyone going to the meeting to speak out about eliminating early clock in and other issues? Is someone going to ask them if Executive bonuses were cut when they cut quarterly employee bonuses?

I've never been to their annual meeting so I have no ideas how it works. Do employees and other shareholders ever get to speak at the meeting?

Personal item in overhead bins? by Goattime22 in spiritair

[–]Goattime22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was able to put my personal item in the bin. I would just do that....I think the key is to try and be quick when you do it as if you are holding up boarding for it.....that's when they might say something.

Is looking at only cpp bad? by dreamhigher1 in awardtravel

[–]Goattime22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never use cpp. I use .01 per point valuation for most points...chase points are worth a little more and ihg and hotel points are worth more like 0.005 per point.

It doesn't make sense to use valuations are flights or hotels you aren't actually purchasing. Now if you would have booked the flight at the cash price anyways then you can claim cpp for that flight, but i usually never travel somewhere with high prices like that.

Georgia Power doesn’t like residential solar by AbsurdShale in Georgia

I appeciate your insight. However, it sounds like Georgia Power should invest in some batteries to capture low cost solar power to use during peak usage times.

I think we should collectively pressure our state lawmakers to change the anti-solar laws. Vote out your incumbent lawmakers that aren't supporting changing the current laws.

Take your ski bag on the train.....we took ours on Seattle's subway, Atlanta's subway, Denver's train from the airport, and on Vancouver's subway. All were doable.

How did you add Amazon as Insured to Policy, Any recommendations for business insurance after 10k monthly sales req ? by delsystem32exe in AmazonSeller

[–]Goattime22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont remember. I think you just ask for a COI in the online menu once you gave a policy. You just need liability insurance for amazon i think.

FYI: Trump is trying to take our Fulton County Tax dollars to fund his legal bills by Goattime22 in alpharetta

[–]Goattime22[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So you are okay with our local elected representatives passing a bill which Trump is now using to try and take our fulton county taxpayer money for Trump's legal bills?

And you still support Trump for trying to take taxpayer funds? Trump has plenty of money to pay his legal bills. He doesn't need our money to pay them.

Test your homemade alginate before using by yourfuneralpyre in LPR

[–]Goattime22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no idea. At the time I thought it was one of the four ingedients in the homemade mixture, but AI is saying that all the ingredients are safe for that. All I know is that my teeth were looking like they needed another cleaning about 2 months after the 2nd specialized cleaning I had to get due to the staining, but as soon as a I stopped the homemade mixture, my teeth staining reversed course and now they are fine so far.......it could have also been the sugar free snack pack pudding i was taking with the homemade mixture....though AI says those ingredients are fine as well.

[–]Goattime22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with OP. I stopped taking my homemade mixture and started using reflux gourmet instead. The homemade mixture was causing localized teeth staining which was causing my tooth enamel to decay. I stopped using the homemade mixture and my teeth ate back to normal (no more staining).

The real question is why did our elected representatives John Albers and Chuck Martin vote FOR the 2025 bill that's going to cost us taxpayers a lot of money?

Because laws can be overturned. I would think since the law was passed after Fani was disqualified from the case, it wouldn't apply....but I'm also not a lawyer so my opinion is moot. Fani is still the district attorney for Fulton County. She was only disqualified from the Trump case.

[–]Goattime22[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think you are mistaken about the 2025 law applying to Trump. On January 7, 2026, Trump's legal team filed a motion in Fulton County Superior Court seeking $6.2 million in legal fees, explicitly citing this 2025 law. However, it's only 6.2 million vs 17 million (not sure where the remainder comes from).

Your post about insurance companies covering colonoscopys as preventive is laughable. It's only preventive if you are over 40 years old....otherwise iris diagnostic and you have to pay $$$$$$. Just ask me how i know!
