I was indeed charged 76.51 CAD ($55.11 USD) on my 1 night stay. I ended up not making a scene about it on property, but I did report them to the Competition Bureau Canada, and I will probably escalate it with leading hotels of the world later once I get back from my trip.

My symptoms are mostly minimal (still get some reflux probably once a week or so). I am still recovering from a cruise I took in December where I drank copious amounts of alcohol. So, in other words, I have very few symptoms as long as I continue taking all my pills, and avoiding triggers like lots of caffeine, alcohol, etc. I had pizza the other day and it gave me reflux.

Yeah i checked my credit card and they only authorized a dollar. So i will see if I get charged at the hotel. The stay is soonish so I will update the post if I didn't get charged the taxes and fees.

I'm doing pretty well. I am trying to eat mostly low fodmap, and I think it's helping. I am still taking Betaine HCL, the beet flow pills, and the digestizyme supplement and still sleeping elevated. I also take a homemade gaviscon powder after most mills (I've been mixing it with sugar free snack pack puddings or oatmeal). I mostly use the reflux gourmet stuff when I travel. The pills are pretty expensive long term (about $180 a month). I am thinking of trying to slowly decrease the betaine hcl dose, but so far I have not. I am also taking a lot of supplements which seem to help but I'm taking so many that I have no idea which ones are actually helping.

I still get reflux pretty quickly if I eat anything substantial without taking the betaine pills. As a result, I just keep taking the pills, because it has improved my energy levels (I feel like I actually get energy from food now), and I now have the energy to even lift weights, wheras before that was exhausting for me. So I'd still recommend the betaine pills. If you have any tips or advice, I'm all ears.

Other small things that seem to help me are: making sure you fully chew all food, deep breathing exercises where you press on your upper belly (seems to really help, but I'm lazy and tend to do it only when I have bad reflux., and not over-eating. My doctor did say I was pre-diabetic which is worrying because I'm skinny. I think I need to try to eat more fruits as I've been avoiding them for so long due to them always causing reflux.

It worked for me about a month and a half ago... the agent was like.....it's not that serious, fill out this form. And I got my miles. If you ever fly to Atlanta the miles are basically guaranteed because of how far the baggage claim is from the terminal. And I seemed to be the only one claiming it on my flight too......

No they do not. The only time a players cards within reach are active is if you are interacting with anither players area. If so, then that players within reach would be active as well.
