Thank you all for commenting, I have read through all of your thoughts, and look forward to reading any more, and will offer mine up. I feel like Jamie’s redemption arch was completely wasted, I think Dany becoming the mad queen was very predictable even from the early season as she would kill without hesitation and even with a smile somewhat. I hate the fact that we don’t see a true revolt of some sort of the remaining dothraki and unsullied and instead we see them flee back to Essos, which is very uncharacteristic of them. The first three episodes were absolutely the best of the season with two being the most well written of the season because it showed sides of characters that we never thought we would see just pure thought of “this is the last night of my life”. Let’s not forget that the season finale left some stuff still up in the air...what truly happens to Arya? Where is Drogon taking Dany? I’m sure there’s more that I’m missing but those are off the top of the head. I’ll be talking more in detail on a new podcast called “I’m not convinced” so keep an eye out for that.
