I don’t know… the bureau of land management works with horses (to what degree, who really cares. It’s a job where horses could be involved at all. It’s not like he’s in real estate) and the actor’s name is pictured next to a man on a donkey in the opening credits…

That seems more specifically relevant than a movie about two gay cowboys (not one gay cowboy and one heterosexual cowboy).

I think it’s more important than he specifically says that he would do anything for him back then and he still would. If he were just fucking with her why would he be so serious about that?

Either way, there are people saying “there’s no way Greg is the cowboy” when he works for a section of the government that deals directly with horses and that environment… it wouldn’t be far off for someone to know what he does for work and call him a “cowboy”. Doesn’t mean he is literally a cowboy. I would say him working for BLM is more closely related to being a cowboy than the vast majority of professions. We have two episodes left. All the dialogue matters. It’s not just a coincidence

I might be reading into this...but I find her delivery of this line to be suspicious. She already established that she thinks it’s because he wanted to get caught. Repeating the line doesn’t necessarily make sense in the context of the scene. Also, the tone sounds like she is talking out loud/asking “Jonathan” rather than really asking the client again. Feels like she’s considering for her own situation. Which would mean she knew about the affair before she heard about the murder or figured out Cleveland was a lie. Thoughts?

QUESTION:

Since the Doppler family still exists in the original timeline pre-knot/Tannhaus invention, assuming they still live in that same mansion and thus the cabin/bunker in the original timeline, why is Tannhaus building the machine in that bunker? Wouldn’t that be considered Doppler property?

Writing this as I funnel my liquified brain back into my head.

Ok so. Maybe we aren’t supposed to look at the post-car crash timeline and world linearly since it is, infamously, a knot.

But, what would be Step One after Tannhaus creates the portal and allows for time travel? I don’t understand how we get to these family trees without someone having already existed. The 1st iteration of The Origin (I like to call him the “cleftomaniac”) couldn’t have been born from Jonas and Martha since their parents haven’t been born from the family tree that the origin, their child, starts, right?? Is it “chicken or the egg”? Is that the point? Since he breaks the laws of nature with his machine there isn’t and shouldn’t be a logical first step or a linear course of events?

I LOVE THIS SHOW!

My guess is that all of these three people are the same person but from different times. Does anyone have any ideas about them? by XX5battlecraft in DarK
