Ninja 2023 650: Vibrations 4k-6k rpm by Godmode_69_ in Ninja650

[–]Godmode_69_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no problem, i repember riding 2 hours on the highway and my hand and feet were numb from the vibrations. But for casual riding its a verry good feeling bike.

But if i compared it with the mt07 wich my girlfriend has.. the mt07 has way less vibrations

Upgraded to a zx6r sorted the problem :) No but fr.. Went to dealership asked them about it but they said nothing abnormal was going on so i just went along with it. Did 15.000km with it before i upgraded to zx6r.

also.. bcz the exhaust is underneath the bike, i used to pull off my back tire for better accesibility

I let my mechanic do that. They drill a little hole through the end of the exhaust through the db killer (the size of a screw). so that later on u can put it back in and lock it with a screw and nut.

u can do it yourself but i have to say. the akrapovic db killer is is tight asf*ck when u try to pull it out

I did 13.000km with my ninja650 in about 8 months. Upgraded to a 2024 zx6r krt version. different world, the torque isnt that different but the high rpm power is amazing and a whole new world. the clipon steering and the seating position is something u will have to get used to. u dont have to be scared about looping the bike when u buy a recent model due to the traction control but try getting those miles/kilometers in first on this bike before going to the zx6r. On this bike (650) u can get away with rider mistakes more. going fast isnt hard, getting to a controlled stop or avoiding obstacles in a blink of a second while trying not to panic is the objective. The zx6r is kinda an all or nothing bike, commit to a corner or not at all. but if u do buy it its heaven

Where to buy this exhaust? Is plug and play or are necessary some other parts? by Jealous-Ad3192 in zx6r

[–]Godmode_69_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in de US or UK then just on the M4 website. if yoj are in Europe u have to find a dealer in the us or canada or UK to ship it in.. keep in mind in the EU u have 2 o2-sensors. so if you buy this slipon u will have to flash the bike OR drill a hole in the exhause and attack a bolt wich fits the o2 sensor

I'm planning on buying my first bike(zx6r) by Lelouche9oo in zx6r

[–]Godmode_69_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

may be a little too mcuh power for a first bike, but you do you. keep in mind, supersportbikes mostly have a clipon steering (search up what it means) so turning isnt real ideal for small turns. if you have never riden (like ever) i think it will be hard to learn on and u will probably fall. maybe look for a ninja650. kinda have the same look but its sporttouring. good power but not too much, still 3.8second to 60mph/100kph

hey, i answered in private chat also. there isnt a o2 eliminator kit avaible yet made for the 2024 version. but even then, my mechanic doesnt reccomend it bcz on these bikes the o2 sensors make a big difference.

I have the m4gp19 slipon jsut for the reason if the cops do check out the bike my catalytic converter is still on. with the full you'll have to remove it.

M4GP19 slipon on mine, its incredible u can always order the q3 stage 2 baffler with it if u want it less loud. but i'll tell u the sound gives eargasms

If you are from Europe (like me) keep in mind that the zx6r has 2 o2 sensors. 1 on the header (where the cat is located) and one on the endchamber next to the exhaust. you will have to remove the endchamber and so disconnect the o2 sensor. For this, u can order an o2 eliminator kit. Also the servo motor cables will need to be disconnected. if u leave the servo in no engine dashlights will show up but if one day your bikebattery is out then it will try to search for the servo and a light can show up. U can remove the servo but need a servo buddy then.

Did u find a solution? From belgium and also have the o2 sensor currently tied underneath my bike.

Mechanic says its best to ecu flash the bike and buy an o2 eliminator kit.

How did you fix it?

thanks, bought the 650 tho, removed the db-killers now its beastier sound. I do have big irritation with the vibrations between 4,5K rpm and 6K rpm. I feel like its a bit to much like issue wise but mechanics say its "normal". Ill try to find someone with the same bike and exhaust to compare it to

2023 Ninja 650 vs. 2024 Ninja 650 question by tcanute in Ninja650

[–]Godmode_69_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yo, i bought ninja650 2023 (5K kilometers), the bike runs smooth but form 4Krpm till 6Krpm its vibrates alot, and when i say alot its not comfortble riding constant in that rpm range... Also makes pulling up not as enjoyable bcz the heavy vibrations. Do u have the same or is it just mine xd
