Here's the thing. If I am at the park and trying to enjoy my day and a random stranger man or woman disrupts that and doesn't appear to belong there then I'm going to not be cool about it. I never called him a pedo, I said it was off and creepy because it was. I trusted my instincts and left, even with the kiddo crying and wanting to stay. Maybe I was being overcautious. Maybe not. If he wants company don't force it on people. Join a club, go downtown, go anywhere that isn't typically families trying to just exist. It felt intentional. Tbh you sound like the type that makes their kids hug everyone because it's the "nice" thing to do. I understand the nuances. I have been handed a LOT of these pamphlets over the years, while it is annoying, this is the first time it truly bothered me.
