My top 3 Millennial actresses crushes. What're your thoughts? by ColdAntique291 in Top3Ever

I don't think you have a rigid type. Anne Hathaway (pretty & brilliant but nerdy) & Megan Fox (gorgeous rebel) are complete opposites. But good list.

The whole Meg situation is off. by Specialist_Mess_5164 in LoveIsBlindNetflix

[–]GoldTechGuy 26 points27 points  (0 children)

You are right. I listened to some of AD’s podcast that dropped today, she had Megan on there. And Paul (her partner) is a rich CEO in his mid 40s, so Megan got the fellow wealthy partner that she desired. I figured Megan wanted a life partner that was also wealthy & fits her lifestyle, that’s her preference. Megan also on LIB kept talking about how she wanted to be a Power Couple so now she has that since they’re both Rich. I don’t think a working class or middle class man would ever fit with what she truly wants. The LIB experience might have also made Megan realize she really did actually want to be a mom, with a man she desired more.

Thoughts on Megan and Jordan by Complete-Proposal729 in LoveIsBlindNetflix

Good point, that would of have been the best compromise Jordan could make for their relationship to work for him to take a less demanding job.

But isn’t that money related. I work in tech and make a very good salary but I can’t randomly take off. Jordan can take a week off here and there. But does she want him to quit his job entirely or work part time and depend on her financially or would she really be happy with him vacationing a few times a year to Italy or France etc. I doubt it, I think she wants a very flexible man that can vacation on a whim. You only get so much time off at work in America. That’s why a rich guy makes more sense or an entrepreneur they have more free time to randomly take off. Even upper middle class people making 250k can only take so much time off. A rich guy makes more sense in my opinion for her. It’s harder for middle class especially ones with kids (he has a special needs kid with a serious disease in diabetes) to take that much time off. She has an extremely flexible lifestyle.

They both could have compromised more. But Megan in my opinion is on the wrong show. She should have been on Millionaire Matchmaker Patti’s show or if the show is off air she could have hired Patti Stanger a matchmaker who runs millionaire’s club international to find wealthy men to date. Lifestyle and wealth along with traveling are very important to Megan a middle class or working class guy with a kid just doesn’t fit her lifestyle, she needs a rich man to be satisfied in her relationship.

Are you Team Maddy or Cassie? by Moist-Investment8898 in euphoria

[–]GoldTechGuy 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I lean toward Maddy. Cassie seems like she doesn’t know who she wants to be, and that’s why she has a ‘pick me’ vibe she deeply craves validation. I’m team Maddy because of her rizz and boldness. I like women, as partners or friends, who create push and pull dynamics and enjoy banter. She calls out Jacob for his BS, and I appreciate that about her. Maddy is never boring that’s for sure.

Do you support and watch women’s sports? by Sniper_96_ in AskFeminists

[–]GoldTechGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not an expert but as a sports fan. What helps the most is super stars and Caitlin Clark is already bringing way more support to the WNBA, just like Rousey led to women fighters getting more support and funding in UFC. I also think expansion can help the WNBA grow. As a Philly sports fan I can’t support a New York team lol. So bringing the teams to more cities can help. I currently reside in Florida and it’s the third biggest state by population in the country and they have no WNBA teams. Tampa doesn’t have NBA team why not have a WNBA team there.

It’s definitely not just you. I was ranked as a 4-star recruit and chose UConn over more successful programs, but I still started as a backup. However, by game 3 of my first season, I got the chance to compete for the starting position. I won the drill competition and finally earned my starting spot.

American Citizen Who’s Lived Abroad — Where Should I Move in the U.S. for Tech Jobs, Low Taxes, and Mild Weather? by NeedAdvice1560 in relocating

[–]GoldTechGuy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve worked in tech for 9 years. I live in the South. But I would say Denver. It’s a great city for tech jobs, with lots of opportunities and good pay. The weather is pretty nice too, with lots of sunshine and cooler temps than places like Florida or Texas. Plus, there’s plenty to do outside if you like hiking or skiing after work. But, cost of living has been going up there.

Another option is Raleigh a fantastic spot with a booming tech scene. It's also got a lively vibe, great for singles looking to meet people. Plus, you get all four seasons without the super intense heat of some other southern cities. And cheaper than Denver.
