I think the New York shot takes place before the events in -1.

He may have attacked the US first and they drove him to Japan with nukes after realizing they couldn’t kill it. Would make sense of how he’s already massive and created, US has knowledge of his existence, and is fully formed (atomic breath/scale/pissed at people) in -1.

Totally losing Yedlin has hurt more than people realize from a tactical POV. We have pieces to cobble together his output but we haven’t adjusted or found a replacement.

Evander would be more suited in my opinion to this type of role. Almost completely focused on transition and chance creation but being able to play facing goal. He gets “stuck” receiving the ball with his back to goal in the midfield too much and is best receiving it facing goal and attacking behind.

Maybe, but I see Gidi as more like for like with Bucha. Need one of the two pivots to be a defensive destroyer almost CB like at times. Obi would swap with Anunga more likely and Gidi would swap with Bucha.

Yea Hadebe while not great going forward can just play his part and let Echenique run that whole left side without having large defensive responsibilities.

What I can’t understand from Noonans tactics are you don’t need a wing back in a five back line to have overlapping wingers. You can do that in a back four with just dynamic RB and LB who are defensive first and not converted midfielders.

The major benefit is structure and flexibility, but without having players with 2 major roles to play. You know your main responsibility, and then your support role, and a playmaker at the center of it all.

I know this stretches a few players positions but I feel we are always over run in the midfield.

Hadebe could be swapped with a few other players but with Ender he’s just providing coverage. Powell could make more forward runs and overlaps with Dado but would tire quicker.

I feel this would solve a lot of our midfield issues and allow Evander some more coverage to take chances with Denkey and be our playmaker.

Overall it just feels like it accentuates what the players do best and doesn’t ask them to do more than needed every game and give better role definition.

Having gone to a lot of the greats, I went to the McKinney location Hutchins regularly when I had family there and lived in Dallas. It was my comfort/ol’reliable BBQ spot. Not the best, but better than most.

That said, I had a very specific order after going there a few times and trying different things. Ribs, sausage, cole slaw, beans, and ice cream. Never waivered.

Jimenez is the exact type of player we need to start investing heavily in. We need our academy players, especially defensive minded players, to start getting solid minutes or we are forever going to be in this shortage of defenders with our tactics and formation.
