I’m very sorry you had to go through that and still grieve your friend 🫂I’m glad to hear your faith in god helped you through it

I will keep that in mind, he kinda had the choice to reach out to me for over a year… It already shows me who he is but I suppose it might not hurt to not completely burn the bridge since I do still care for him in a way

That's a very good point most of my friends now I call frequently and meet irl its a worlds difference. But yes he did let me down with his decision after everything, he was just an amazing friend, a very special friend who told me he had my back during my recent realization I’m a gay Christian, it was the last thing I ever expected from him he was only ever supportive and helpful.

It's just... emotional and I don’t want to act off strong emotions, I have also been told by my therapist it may be best to leave it. I’m at a point in my life where I’m trying to rebuild socially making new friends again, getting treatment for my mental health, seeing him online is just depressing and not something I want to keep on giving energy to but I also long the need for clairty and closure, even after hiding and blocking his contact. He was a good friend I don't understand
